02/ 17/ 05 Cell C supports CowParade in South Africa

Cell C is sponsoring the CowParade - the world?s largest public art event. The sponsorship of the CowParade is a natural extension to the successful ?Art in the City? initiative that was launched by Cell C in 2002.

This sponsorship initiative has been chosen by Cell C as both a creative way to promote art and culture in South Africa, as well as to raise much-needed funds for children with cancer.

Cell C is a South African brand and the CowParade provides an opportunity to celebrate 10 years of democracy and South Africa?s diverse people, its unique places, culture and history.

Cell C supports sponsorship activities that give back to the community that supports the company. This sponsorship opportunity is a good platform to enrich the lives of people in South Africa?s community while enhancing Cell C with the people in these communities.
