Picasso’s abstractions hugely affected the art world of the twentieth century and he is still viewed as one of the most prominent artists of this age. His cubism and the simplification of form correspond to a large extent to the work of African artists. This inspired Annali to produce a design in the cubist style, but with references to the weird and wonderful African continent.
